Cascades Colonial Accommodation C.1841 is 15km from Port Arthur. Situated in a beautiful peaceful waterfront environment Cascades was once a jail for convicts on probation from Port Arthur. Cascades now offers the visitors the opportunity to stay in authentically restored convict cottages.

Single Officers Quarters cottages are now cosy 1 bedroom cottages with an open fire place. The convict Workshop is the luxury spa cottage with central heating and the married Officers Quarters is our 2 bedroom cottage with open fire place.

Cascades offers an experience not just a bed for the night. There is also free entry to our private museum and a stunning waterfront and rainforest walk on the property.
