'Bet's B & B Studio', Johnston Street, Annandale, NSW

Bet's B&B is a clean, spacious, fully self-contained, two-level studio just 3.5 km from Sydney’s CBD.

The B&B is a large loft-like studio. It's large - 54 square metres. It is separate from the house and guests have their own private street entrance, so you can come and go as you please. There's free high-speed WiFi, private bathroom, laundry and kitchen facilities, and reverse-cycle air-conditioning. Generous breakfast provisions (estimated by guests to save $25) are provided daily. On arrival, we provide guests with free Opal travel tickets (bus, ferry and train), detailed city maps and tourist brochures.

Upstairs, in the large open-plan studio, is a Queen-size bed and twin bedside tables. The lounge area includes two leather couches (3-seat and 2-seat), a large flat-screen TV, separate DVD and book libraries, a three-seat dining table, writing desk and a fully equipped and well stocked kitchenette. You can cook what you want, when you want.

Downstairs is your private bathroom, with toilet, washing machine and a clothes dryer for your exclusive use. There’s also a hair dryer, bathrobes, an iron and ironing board for your private use as well.

Bet’s B&B is the perfect base to explore Sydney. It’s close to the city by public transport – bus and lightrail – and conveniently located, just minutes from Annandale’s shopping strip, including more than 20 cafés and restaurants and three supermarkets. Nearby is 'The Tramsheds', a dining precinct that houses a dozen restaurants, a supermarket, bakery, wine bar and gym.

An easy 10-minute stroll from Bet's B&B takes you to sprawling Sydney Harbour parklands criss-crossed by foreshore walks and bicycle tracks that lead to Sydney's popular Fish Markets and beyond - to Darling Harbour and to the city.
