Tropical Retreat. Self-contained, air-conditioned, B&B bungalows on a picturesque 30-acre property near Daintree National Park. Perfect hideaway for honeymooners, birdwatchers, nature-lovers or for a relaxing interlude during a busy holiday schedule.

Eight kilometres beyond Daintree Village, at the end of a scenic valley trail lies this peaceful haven, alive with tropical birds and butterflies and filled with tropical gardens, rainforest, tropical fruit trees and easy walking tracks.

Each cabin is in a private spot with a verandah overlooking the wetlands-dam, tropical gardens and rainforest and has a queen-size bed, convertible sofa for one extra adult, microwave, cooktop, fridge, also air-conditioner and ceiling fan and is fully insect-screened. (We do not have facilities for children under 12.)

No passing traffic, TVs or radios - and your mobile phone will only work in Daintree Village, 8km away. The only sound you will hear will be bird calls!

One and a half hours north of Cairns airport, drive through Mossman to Daintree Village (do not turn right to the Daintree ferry), then follow the blue signs for 8km along Stewart Creek Road
